When you book with Eco Safaris Africa DMC, our team provides full guidance throughout the visa process to make your travel hassle-free.
Passport Requirements
Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates and should have at least two blank pages for entry and exit stamps.
What Vaccinations Are Required?
- A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for travelers aged 1 year and above coming from or transiting for more than 12 hours through a yellow fever risk country.
- The CDC and WHO recommend vaccinations for Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, and in some cases, Rabies depending on your planned activities.
- Routine vaccinations (MMR, TDP, etc.) should be up to date.
- As of January 2023, Tanzania has removed all COVID-19 restrictions – no PCR tests or vaccinations are required for entry.
We strongly recommend consulting your doctor or a travel health clinic well in advance to get personalized medical advice.
When is the Best Time to Visit Tanzania?
Tanzania’s weather changes a lot depending on where you are, but it’s always a great place to visit! The coast is hot and very humid, like a warm jungle, while the northern and highland areas are cooler because they are higher up. Temperatures usually stay between 22°C and 31°C. Zanzibar’s beaches have a warm and tropical feel all year round.
Tanzania offers incredible experiences year-round! The best time depends on your interests, budget, and preferred activities:
