As you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a safari representative will be there to meet and greet you. He will then transfer you to your prearranged hotel, where he will assist with check-in formalities, ensuring you can unwind and recharge comfortably after what’s probably been a long flight.

Kickstart your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel, preparing you for a great adventure ahead. Afterwards, transfer to Arusha Airport and board a flight to the northern part of Serengeti National Park.
Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly greeted by your personal driver-guide, who will then escort you to a luxurious lodge. After checking in and have enjoyed your lunch, you venture out on an exhilarating game-viewing drive across the northern Serengeti. This part of Serengeti serves as an ideal base for game-viewing drive, particularly from August to October, during the migration season.
Even outside of migration months, the area maintains its allure with a rich permanent wildlife presence, notably featuring magnificent elephants. In the heart of this untamed African wilderness, you will find comfort, tranquility, and the promise of an extraordinary safari experience.

Overnight: Northern Serengeti
Rise under the Serengeti canopy, greeted by the enchanting melodies and fragrances of the wilderness. Today begins with eager anticipation, hoping to witness one of nature’s most spectacular phenomena – the Great Migration of Wildebeests. This event, displays Earth’s largest gatherings of various animal species. Prepare for a spellbinding spectacle as you witness over 1 million wildebeests and other animals move across the endless plains, accompanied by predators including lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas.
Bird enthusiasts will revel in the diverse avian life, with over 520 species of birds, including 57 species of raptors dominate the Serengeti skies.
In the afternoon, return to your lodge for lunch – a relaxing break before the second round of the game-viewing drive. After a wonderful day spent, in evening, you journey back to your lodge for dinner and a restful night.

Overnight: Northern Serengeti
These two days’ main focus will be about enjoying two game-viewing drives, perhaps a hot-air balloon flight or the al fresco bush lunch on the second day. Central Serengeti is famous for its predator-dominance, and this may bring some great sights of predator-prey during drives. You’ll probably catch sights of nearly eight thousand spotted hyenas, united in formidable clans, alongside three thousand lions adorned with their distinctive black manes. In addition to these apex predators, cheetahs, leopards, and bat-eared foxes also add to the diversity of the Serengeti’s ecosystem. Scavengers, including golden and side-striped jackals, as well as different vulture species, play their vital roles in this intricate web of life.

Following an early morning meal, you leave for Ngorongoro Crater while enjoying a final game drive en route.
Upon arrival at Ngorongoro, descend nearly 2,000 feet into the depths of the world’s largest unbroken crater for a full day of thrilling game-viewing drives. The Ngorongoro crater is one of Africa’s most densely populated wildlife reserves. Among the stars that command attention includes the endangered black rhino. Led by your expert driver, you’ll immerse yourself in every facet of Ngorongoro’s splendor, experiencing the landscape like a seasoned explorer.
In the afternoon, you’ll stop at a picnic site and enjoy a hearty packed lunch. As evening casts its gentle glow, ascend the crater walls and journey to your lodge in Karatu. Enjoy the evening at leisure.

Overnight: Ngorongoro highlands
After breakfast at the lodge, set sail towards Lake Eyasi with the aim to immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Hadzabe and Datoga. Inhabiting this region for over 10,000 years, the Hadzabe tribe have been upholding traditional hunting and gathering practices, offering a unique and authentic experiences to visitors who wish to meet them one on one.
Whilst here, you’ll witness some captivating demonstrations of hunting techniques by the Hadzabe bushmen, and perhaps even try your hand at shooting arrows as during hunting. Meanwhile, you’ll gain insights into the fruit-gathering practices of the women. Capture every moment with incredible photos, making this tour a unique highlight of your safari. These incredible activities provide invaluable insights into the lifestyles of the Hadzabe and Datoga people alike.

Overnight: Ngorongoro Highlands
Depart for Tarangire after your final breakfast, for a full day game-viewing drive. This final day of your Tanzanian safari in Tarangire National Park is an incredible way to celebrate the African wildlife in style. Dotted with the ancient baobab trees, Tarangire is a fascinating wildlife reserve that forms part of an extensive ecosystem where animals roam freely. The park stretches southeast of Lake Manyara National Park along the Tarangire River, offering an excellent opportunity for an authentic and stylish game-viewing experience.
During the dry season, particularly between July and October, Tarangire boasts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in the country’s northern safari circuit. Also known as the elephant playground, it is renowned for hosting the highest recorded number of elephants, which are easily observed until late October when the short-wet season prompts their migration to new grasslands. Moreover, Tarangire offers sightings of other renowned fauna, including hartebeests, wildebeests, zebras, elands, lesser kudus, gazelles, waterbucks, giraffes, impalas, and occasionally leopards or rhinos.
Early in the afternoon after lunch, you’ll journey back to Arusha and transfer to the airport for your homeward flight or to other destinations.
